 | In 1930 the first blades mechanized factory in the Middle East region was established in Alexandria, under the name of "Alexandria Metal Products Company". Fifty years later, a joint-venture was formed with the former Wilkinson Sword U.K., and the merger improved the overall quality and performance of the Lord Blades. In 1981, Wilkinson spun off several business's and the Lord Razor Company was formed.
